The Ireland-Canada Chamber of Commerce Vancouver (ICCCVan) was incorporated on October 2, 2017. The founding members recognised the lack of support and networking opportunities for the growing Irish business community in Vancouver and sought to address this. With the support and encouragement from the new Irish Ambassador to the Canada, the founding members invested considerable time and work into establishing a formal Irish Chamber of Commerce in Vancouver.
The ICCCVAN maintains close links with our sister chapters in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal, as well as the Irish Embassy in Ottawa. Further we will also work closely with and assist with the establishments of the new Irish Diplomatic Mission in Vancouver in late 2018.
The ICCCVan was created solely to promote, connect and support Irish professionals and business owners in Vancouver. Through our events and networks Irish professionals of all levels can grow their networks and seek the support of fellow members.
The members of the ICCCVan do not have any obligation to the organisation other than to attend the networking events of their choosing. The benefits of the membership are numerous and listed under the Membership page. The most important factor is to be a part of the organisation that offers excellent networking opportunities leading to expansion and development of members businesses and contacts.
Joining does not translate to a responsibility unless one is interested in becoming an active member, volunteering, or running for a board of director position.
