Ireland-Canada Chamber of Commerce Vancouver Launches New Website!

The Ireland-Canada Chamber of Commerce Vancouver (ICCCVan) proudly launched its new and improved website to facilitate greater networking and engagement for its members.

Vancouver, June 1, 2021 – The Ireland-Canada Chamber of Commerce Vancouver (ICCCVan) proudly launched its new and improved website in June 2021. The ICCCVan is a not-for-profit organization that supports and connects Irish business professionals in Vancouver.

Founded in 2017, the Chamber was established with the support of the Irish Consulate with a focus on creating networking opportunities for members, developing trade between Ireland and Canada and encouraging entrepreneurship throughout the Irish community in Vancouver. While the pandemic brought new challenges to everyone, the team of volunteers at ICCCVan used the time to re-do its website in an effort to add more value to the Irish business community in Vancouver.

ICCCVan Website - Networking Vancouver

Despite the restrictions on in-person events, the ICCCVan successfully  transitioned to a virtual events program in 2020. Since then, ICCCVan has delivered a strong calendar of virtual events spanning many topics, including; a trade event with the new Irish Ambassador to Canada, Eamon Mckee, and Deirdre Moran of IDA Ireland, a mental health event, and our second Women Leading Change event as part of the St Brigid’s Festival.

The ICCCVan wanted to create new ways for its members to engage and network virtually. The new ICCCVan website is designed to add more value to the ICCCVan’s strong member base, predominantly located in Vancouver. Members of the ICCCVan join primarily to learn from the Irish business community and network with one another, so it was important to cultivate this, with or without in-person events.

Other benefits of the new ICCCVan website include integrated ticketing, which delivers savings for members in the form of reduced ticketing costs, plus the new website facilitates broader collaboration with sister Chambers across Canada. The Ireland-Canada Chamber of Commerce includes chapters in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. “We wanted to give our valued members the chance to network outside of our traditional events calendar and we’re delighted to launch our online Members Directory so that members can benefit from the ability to network 24/7”, shares Ruairi Spillane, President, ICCCVan.

The members-only directory allows both Individual and Corporate ICCCVan Members to create profiles and connect to fellow Chamber members across Canada. The Pan-Chamber Green Pages initiative, which integrates Ireland-Canada Chamber members across Canada, is set to launch soon.

The ICCCVan now offers Corporate Membership packages in addition to the existing Individual Membership packages. The Chamber offers a new Event Sponsorship Programme, which offers promotional opportunities to businesses at ICCCVan events and on the ICCCVan Social Media channels. There is a huge pool of talented Irish business professionals and innovative businesses throughout Vancouver and across Canada, the ICCCVan is focused on supporting the Irish business community in achieving its goals.

The ICCCVan are extremely grateful for the continued support of the Irish Consulate in Vancouver and the Emigrant Support Program from the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs.
